Welcome to my weekly blog!  This is my first ever blog, and my goal is to pick a different topic each week to discuss.  I will blog about a new topic each Sunday, and the topic will then be open for discussion.  Some topics may, depending on the topic, be closed for discussion after a certain length of time.  Because this is my first experience with this, and I recognize that it will take time to build a readership, I may not post a new topic every week until I can build my readership.

My wish for this website is to have a place to discuss a variety of issues without the biased spin that traditional news media attaches to a topic.  In addition to major weekly news stories, topics will range from anything to anything.  From news stories to product reviews, from entertainment to life in general, nothing will be off limits.

So often, I have read articles online with anonymous comments posted by people that have nothing relevant to contribute to the discussion.  Many times, these posts are nothing more than profanity laced tirades, or advertisements for magical pills to allegedly fix a multitude of problems.  That is not what this site is going to be about.  Here on the Weekly Blog Spot, everyone will be welcome to register (free) and post their thoughts.  However, comments that are simply spam will be removed, as will comments that are completely off topic.  Also, personal attacks will not be tolerated.  Please note that I will not edit your post if it violates any of the above terms.  Instead, it will simply be deleted.  I aim for this site to be a place for opinions and facts that lead to an intelligent conversations.

In an effort to weed out the spam and junk posts, a user’s first post will be held for moderation.  Once your first post has been approved, your future posts will no longer be held for review and will post immediately.  If you have a topic you would like to see discussed, please contact me through my contact page and tell me about it.  I may just use that topic on an upcoming blog!  And if you have any comments or suggestions about this site in general, please let me know.  I am always open to suggestions!  Thank you for your interest in this blog, and please share it with your friends!
